The Alpinist Dry Gin is a true Swiss product: it contains glacier water from the Jungfraujoch as well as typical alpine herbs that give it sweet, spicy and floral aromas.

With a leather label hung around the bottleneck and a sleek, elegant design, The Alpinist Dry Gin has been causing quite a stir right from the start. What is really of interest, however, is the clear liquid inside: The juniper schnapps is mixed to regulate the drinking strength with natural glacier water from the Jungfraujoch in over 3,454 meters in height. The ridge surrounded by monk, Eiger and Jungfrau is almost the origin of the famous Aletsch Glacier and belongs just as much to Switzerland as the Matterhorn. There, where more than 700,000 tourists take pictures each year, there are the in-house ice cliffs of The Alpinist, which supply the glacier water. But not only the water, but also the botanicals determine the taste of this gin. In addition to citrus fruits, juniper berries and a few exclusive, secret herbs, three so-called signature botanicals come into play. These are silver thistle, lady's mantle and arnica, all of which are native to the Swiss Alps. The place of the distillery is another small secret of the premium brand: it is only known that it is a manageable farm at the foot of the mountains.
