This 18-month-old tequila is dedicated to the Olmecs, who lived in the Mexican forests long before the Mayans.

According to legend, the gods of the Olmec people drank the nectar of the blue agave five centuries before the heyday of the Mayan culture. Therefore, the bottle of this Tequilas is also provided with ancient symbols and engravings. Olmeca Reposado is made, as befits a tequila, from the heart of the blue agave. It is classified as a Tequila Mixto and, by definition, derives at least 51% of its sugar (which is converted to alcohol during fermentation) from the agave plant. The Olmeca Reposado then matures in oak barrels for 18 months.
