Although the Ole Smoky distillery only exists since July 2010, it is based on a long-lasting tradition of whiskey distillers. The family of its founder Joe Baker was among the first to settle in the Smoky Mountains. Here the company still resides today. After the state of Tennessee abolished the prohibition laws, the family saw their chance to make their traditional businesses official. The result is a Moonshine, which is strong in taste, but also characterized by a gentle drinking experience and also has an excellent finish.
