CHARTREUSE herbal liqueur 70 cl / 55 % France

This unique French herbal liqueur is still made today by the Carthusian monks according to a secret recipe dating back to 1605. Only two monks at a time are privy to the recipe. Chartreuse green with 55% vol. has a strong, tart taste and spicy aroma. More than 130 herbs give it its unique taste and inimitable, typical green color - a secret of the monks - which is produced exclusively by natural means. It can be enjoyed neat, on ice, in cocktails or as a long drink.

History
