What began on June 28, 1969 as an all-too-routine raid on the gay bar of the Stonewall Inn evolved into several days of rebellion on the streets of Greenwich Village. That night became known as the Stonewall Uprising and sparked a mass movement that quickly spread across the U.S. and around the world.

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, now an international symbol of the struggle against oppression and for freedom for all people everywhere.

Stoli has a 25-year history of supporting the LGBT community and is a proud partner of the Stonewall Inn Gives Back initiative. The "Spirit of Stonewall" limited edition bottle honors the 50-year legacy of the Stonewall movement. Lisa Marie Thalhammer's original label artwork, including her iconic thirteen-color rainbow spectrum "LOVE," brings to life a powerful and hopeful message of how the courage to take a stand has evolved into the modern Pride movement and celebration.
