"Uludag Gazoz"

Depending on the recipe, Gazoz contains whey, water, sugar, carbon dioxide, citric acid and flavors. Depending on the manufacturer, additional ingredients such as preservatives may be required. The taste of the soft drink is most comparable to drinks such as Sprite, but is less sweet, rather gum-like. Gazoz is often seen today alongside Ayran as a Turkish non-alcoholic national drink.

Uludag Gazoz is the most famous brand and has been available since 1930. At that time, the drink was still produced exclusively with spring water of the mountain Uludag and was therefore only limited available.
