Cola Baladin is a non-alcoholic drink without dyes or preservatives, made using kola nuts from the Slow Food Presidio in Sierra Leone, so that their purchase, together with part of the proceeds from the sale of the drink, provides a small source of income for the Presidio.

The use of these kola nuts and the decision not to use artificial coloring meant that the new Baladin drink has an unusual color for a cola. It is red! It is this color that distinguishes it from other, more "commercial" products and immediately reveals our intention. Because we don't want to be pinned down to a profit concept, but rather take the freedom to offer the consumer a strong signal: Often it is quite simple to make your own contribution to support the people who do not have the means to help themselves.

Sierra Leone is one of the many African countries suffering from political struggles and economic wars. Our cola is certainly a niche product, but it allows us to pursue the noble goal of sustainability in its deepest meaning.
