FEE BROTHERS West Indian ORANGE Aromatic Bitters 150 ml / 9 % USA
Fee Brothers Orange Bitters, also called West Indian Orange Bitters, is suitable for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks. These bitters are made with the flavors of orange zest from the West Indies.
Bitters, also called cocktail bitters, are alcoholic "condiments" for mixed drinks that can also be used as an aperitif. One of the most famous brands is the American Fee Brothers Bitters from Rochester, New York. It all started in 1863, when a small delicatessen was opened, which later also sold liqueurs and cocktail bitters. After many eventful years of passing Fee Brothers from one generation to the next, skirting Prohibition by making altar wines and selling kits to legally make house wine, losing thousands of gallons of good wine and bitters (which were poured into a river because taxation would have bankrupted the company), Fee Brothers, under the direction of Ellen and Joe Fee, is now in its fourth generation of making over 100 bitters, syrups and liqueurs. Orange Bitters have been in the company's product line since the mid-1950s.
