One of the most famous brands in the world in terms of whiskey and bourbon is undoubtedly Jim Beam. Only 1% of the barrels that the distillery produces are good enough for this edition. Each bottle has the barrel number handwritten and was bottled at 47.5% vol (95 proof).

Jim Beam is probably one of the most famous whiskey brands in the world. The history of the Jim Beam Group goes back to 1788. At that time, Jakob Böhm (Jacob Beam), who emigrated from Germany, settled in Kentucky, USA as a farmer. Like many of the farmers there, he began distilling the surplus of his grain harvest into whiskey. Initially, Jacob Beam produced only for his own use, but since his whiskey was well received by acquaintances, Beam began to produce and sell his whiskey commercially for the first time in 1795. It was his great-grandson Jim who laid the foundation for Jim Beam's worldwide reputation. Jim took over the then still small company in 1880 and produced high quality bourbon whiskey until Prohibition forced him to close the distillery in 1919. When Prohibition ended in 1933, Jim Beam was 70 years old. However, this did not prevent him from rebuilding the distillery and bottling bourbon whiskey again after four years of storage. Since then, Jim Beam still has direct relations with the descendants of the founding family and the famous bottle now adorns seven portraits of the Beam family.

While individual barrels have been bottled as Booker's Small Batch Bourbon in addition to the standard whiskey since 1989, Jim Beam has greatly expanded its portfolio in recent years. One of the most successful new launches was Jim Beam Honey!
