Mount RIGI Kirschikör 70 cl / 20 % Schweiz

A cherry liqueur with a hint of lemon that comes from the heart of Switzerland: Mount Rigi liqueur. Made according to an old recipe, it should be served as an aperitif.

A popular tourist destination in Switzerland is Mount Rigi, a mountain massif with the Rigi Kulm, which at 1797.5 meters above sea level is the highest of six peaks. The Rigi is surrounded by three lakes and is therefore almost completely embraced by water. Every summer, crowds of tourists flock to the summit to enjoy the magnificent view. But Mount Rigi is also famous for something else: the cherry brandy distilled from the sweet red fruits that grow on the massive mountain slopes. The Mount Rigi liqueur is produced by the Mount Rigi Distillery in Zug according to old recipes, has a slightly fruity citrus note in addition to the typical cherry flavor and should be served ice-cold as an aperitif.
