The Swiss produce their promille-free alternatives by double distilling selected organic botanicals to mimic the taste of the original spirits. But that's not all: by adding a tiny bit of chili extract, they can even mimic the slight alcoholic burn in the throat. For their 0.0% aperitif alternative, Christof and Janick combine various herb and spice distillates, grape juice concentrate, and sugar cane syrup with water, natural flavors, and vermouth and spice extracts.
