The Swiss produce their promille-free alternatives by double distilling selected organic botanicals to mimic the taste of the original spirits. But that's not all: by adding a tiny bit of chili extract, they can even mimic the slight alcoholic burn in the throat. For their 0.0% gin alternative, Christof and Janick combine juniper berry, herb, and spice distillates with water, natural flavors, and a spice extract.
