Apart from the juniper, all the ingredients for Gin'Ca Gin come from Peru and thus provide a remarkable testimony to the extremely diverse natural landscape.

Inca Distillery in Lima released this 95% Peruvian gin. 95% Peruvian because both the base alcohol (sugar cane spirit) and most of the botanicals (rosemary, sweet lemons, limes, red pepper, Amazon cinnamon, black pepper, rue, verbena, grapefruit) come from Peru and have been part of the country's culture and cuisine for centuries. Only the juniper, which is known to be part of every gin, does not grow in the southern hemisphere and must be imported from Macedonia. The water used to reduce the fivefold distillate to drinking strength originates at an altitude of over 5000m in the majestic Andes. With its ingredients, Gin'Ca Gin is an interesting testament to Peru's diverse natural landscape, which is roughly divided into three ecosystems: Dry coast, cool highlands and hot and humid rainforest.
