Since 2016, the liqueur has been made again using the same recipe as in 1871.

Jefferson Amaro Importante. The story goes that after surviving the shipwreck, he found refuge in the old bonded warehouse (Vecchio Magazzino Doganale).
It was he who selected and gathered citrus fruits, aromatic spices and herbs from all over Calabria.
Today, all this is reproduced again in an authentic way, paying very close attention to details.
Bergamot, sweet and sour oranges, rosemary and oregano, are the basic and natural ingredients from Calabria.
Combined with other herbs and spices, they make up the unique Jefferson.
Its Mediterranean flavor can be enjoyed both at room temperature and chilled. Ideal for mixing, for great classics, as a bitter or as an addition to vermouth.
