Green was probably the only right choice of color for Generous Organic Gin, and not only because it is "green" (organic). Indeed, the defining botanicals in this case are coriander (a green spice plant) and combava (a type of green lime). Gin enthusiasts may be more familiar with the Combava under the name Kaffir lime, as this is also found in some other gin recipes. Aside from the coriander and lime, Generous Gin carries the flavors of lemons, tangerines, red pepper and, of course, juniper. At the same time, some of the ingredients undergo a mere maceration and others a co-distillation with the base alcohol. On the very handsome bottle, reminiscent of a beautifully decorated vase, the organic seal of approval is printed.
