Thomas Fentiman came to brewing by a rather unusual route: In 1905, a merchant is said to have asked him for a loan. As collateral, he gave Fentiman a recipe for herbally brewed ginger beer. Since the merchant never repaid his loan, the recipe remained in Fentiman's possession. And so the latter began making the ginger beer and experimented with it over the following years. In the meantime, there are also various lemonades in the range. The "Rose Lemonade" is one of them and consists of precious rose oil from the Valley of Roses in Bulgaria. This gives the liquid a soft rosy color and a floral aroma, which is rounded off by refreshing lemon juice.
