Our brewery is operated as a guesthouse brewery in the basement of the Hotel-Restaurant Rigi-Seebodenalp. Since 1998, Asha and Andreas Brand have been running the lively family business in the popular recreational area above Küssnacht am Rigi.
In the winter of 2014/2015, the basement of the hotel was completely rebuilt in order to realize the brewery on Seebodenalp. Since April 2015, the proprietor and trained beer sommelier Andreas Brand has been producing his beer creations in the new Bergbrauerei.

The Rigibier is lovingly created by hand, in the midst of a picturesque backdrop and with fresh mountain spring water of the Rigi. Meanwhile, over forty restaurants and retailers around and on the Rigi are among our customers. At the moment there are two beers available. Our "Rigi carrier", a lager beer and the "Rigi Abigrot" a top-fermented ale that tastes like an IPA, but is not brewed quite hopefully.
